ChewBit is a personal food and weight tracker operated by Kala Works LLC (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using ChewBit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

A new app

ChewBit is new and we're still improving it. The app is provided as is — expect occasional rough edges, and keep your own backup of anything important (you can export all your data anytime in Settings).

Your account

Keep your login details private — you're responsible for activity under your account.
Accounts are for one person; don't share your access or credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ChewBit.

Your data and content

The food, weight, and other information you enter is yours. You grant Kala Works LLC permission to store and process it solely to provide ChewBit to you. You can export or permanently delete all of it at any time from Settings. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

What you may do

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use ChewBit for your own personal nutrition tracking. That's it — no other rights are granted.

What you may not do

Copy, redistribute, sublicense, sell, or share access to the app or its content.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying logic.
Scrape, bulk-download, or harvest the app, its data, or its nutrition content.
Use ChewBit, or anything you learn from it, to build or assist a competing product.
Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
Interfere with, overload, probe, or attempt to break the security of the service.

Our intellectual property

ChewBit — including its software, source code, design, look and feel, name, logo, and the AI prompts and systems behind its features — is owned by Kala Works LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. All rights reserved.These terms don't transfer any ownership to you.

Feedback

We'd love your feedback, and if you send us ideas, bug reports, or suggestions, you agree we may use them to improve ChewBit freely and without obligation or compensation to you.

Not medical or dietary advice

ChewBit's calorie and nutrition figures — including AI photo, label, and text estimates — are approximations for general tracking, not medical or dietary advice. They can be wrong. Don't rely on them for medical decisions; consult a qualified professional for health, diet, or medical guidance. If you're under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to a doctor before changing how you eat.

Disclaimer and liability

ChewBit is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and may be unavailable or change over time. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kala Works LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

Ending access

You can stop using ChewBit at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or end access to the app — in whole or for any account — at any time, for example if an account misuses the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ChewBit develops. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use ChewBit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
